The City Government of Santiago thru its City Economic and Investment Promotion Office (CEIPO) in partnership with DTI Santiago CIty Satellite office has successfully conducted the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺: “ 𝘈 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘚𝘔𝘌𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺’𝘴 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘖𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 “ on December 12 - 13, 2022 at Dea Myles Function Hall, Dubinan West, Santiago City.

The forum aims to promote business opportunities in Santiago City’s prime commodities and industries, and was attended by the different investors, distributors, contractors, realtors, hotel and restaurant owners, farmers, MSMEs, academes, government agencies and other partner stakeholders of Santiago City.

With the impressive lineup of keynote speakers for this 2-day event, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙀𝙪𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙏. 𝙂𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙡 of Agri Component Corporation and Right Agri Development Inc. discussed the Rice and Corn Production Business Models and Opportunities through his concise presentation of his existing and upcoming projects. Everyone from the listeners were surely fascinated and empowered as Mr. Gabriel emphasizes the possibly beneficial impact of establishing a village type grain processing center in every barangay of Santiago City. He firmly supposes that this project would solve the country’s concern in attaining food security.

The average land holding of small farmer in the Philippines is 1ha, thus, this business model and opportunities presented by Mr. Gabriel is a window of opportunity designed for small farmers.
